You're right with a bigger lens, unfortunaly I don't have one :-( . Thats the reason I used the 180mm macro lens also as a little telephoto lens.
It is very simple to crop away some sky or to get a piece of a (digital) photo. But I take slides and then it's impossible to cut something off.
