Doing these "flies on flowers" is a lot less tricky than getting a good scenic shot that is of some interest.
On of the things I have learned about the FoF shots is that I avoid really sunny weather... Invariably you end up with white spots or as a minimum a wash out of colours... I find that equaly hard on scenic shots, but like to push the edge.
