20 days self drive adventure through the wilderness called Kruger National Park.
The Kruger National Park is a game reserve consisting of almost 20000 square kilometers of woodland savanna.
Belgium (my country) covers an area of approximate 30000 square kilometers. So a 2/3 ratio.
It sits in the South African lowveld between the Northern Drakensberg and the Mozambique coastal plains.
It has a variety of savanna habitats, ranging from high-rain
fall wooded mountains to semi-arid grassland plains. It has an abundance of wildlife.

Period: October; usually the beginning of the rainy season; very hot if rains are late.

Landscape: New grass emerges on the savanna; bulbuous plants begin appearing, mopaneveld becomes green

Animals: good game viewing as bush is still not too thick; birds engage in courtship rituals; steppe eagle begins to arrive,...
