i spent two memorable nights in Suntaleykhola... in an isolated cottage [cottage no. 8] maintained by West Bengal Forest Development Corporation. the whole night i used to listen to the music of the forest and various calls of unknown birds... the days were busy... taking bath in river Neora, exploring nature and running after butterflies... Suntaleykhola is a must see for Nature-lovers.
Neora valley is not so far from Suntaleykhola. this valley is a favourite trek-route... till Lava. the place is rich in butterflies. Red Panda and many rare birds can also be found in there. this valley remains closed in monsoon. |
