[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On Earth Day we spent the day at Six Mile Cypress Slough, a wonderful place to celebrate Planet Earth.

Now, I found these lazy guys taking a respite from all of the breeding activities that were taking place 100 or so yards away. I know it's not my best work, but I had to share this one. It was mid-day in the belly of FL. I hope you all like it, take care.

Far Left: Tricoloured Heron, Middle: Great Egret, Right: Wood Stork.

Hi Angela,
I think it is a great image, capturing all those birds in one spot. It's special. Nice. Hope you had a great Earth Day. Here in Australia it is Anzac Day we have a public holiday. Anzac Day is a day to remember those who have fought in wars for our country.
Cheers,
Debbie

Hi Ange,

Fantastic to get these three in one shot. I like the way the heron is turning his back on the other two. Nice natural setting - lovely colors and details - but no water :-(

Hello Ange,
Not often one can see two herons and a Wood Stork on one shot! Though the light was against you, you have manages good sharpness, color and detail in this pleasing compo. set in a natural environment. A good encouragement that we must take care of our planet!

TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hi Ange

Wonderfully varied species shot - in really difficult light. This is good because it shows habitat and species variation.

James

Hi Angela,
A great combination shot of th ethree birds. The wood stork looks like its having bad hair day. :)

Hello Angela

I am amazed at how many wonderful shots of these beautiful birds you are posting, great job.The setting is natural and the focus and details are really good.Looks like these two are comparing notes.

Rob

Hi Angela,
nice composition of these three birds together. You have good focus and colour in your shot but overall the photo appears to be somewhat over bright so some of the detail lacks in these birds.I like this photo as it is your trademark quality subject matter and POV,I'm still thinking of Asian artwork for some reason, well done.Tfs Bob
