[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On our way to Cameron lake in Waterton Lakes National Park, this mother bear came out of the bush behind us with two cubs. By the time I got the camera ready, she had sent the cubs off to hide, while warily munching on some dandelion leaves. While the mosquitos around her didn't seem to bother her, once more tourists arived to take pictures, she turned and boltet with lightning speed.
My wife Christan also took pictures and posted her's on TL here.

Greetings,
Pablo -

Wow Otto,
How lucky you were to capture this image. Pity the cubs had a chance to leave. I guess we can't hold onto our cameras all the time. Anyway the image is just fabulous. Well done it is very impressive with a great POV and the quality is wonderful.
Cheers,
Debbie

Michel

Hi Otto,
Nice capture with very good color & details. Well composed frame & I like the POV..A bit quicker on the draw and the cubs might've joined in?
Ah well, always next time :)
Howard

She looks as if she just came from the hair salon... beautifully clean and brushed. It is a wonderful shot with great color and sharpness. I suppose you have learned, as did we, to keep the camera all set and within easy reach. I missed a grizzly standing up on its hind legs threatening a bison a couple of weeks ago. That taught me!

Evelynn : )

Hi Otto,
Great shot, well focused, sharp.
I am wondering, why you gave the title of 'cinnamon and mosquito' for this cute bear?

BL

Wow... a little close for comfort...
especially with a mother WITH cubs!!!
The details on the fur are very sharp.
How close were you??
Great shot.
TFS. : )

Hi Otto,
An excellent shot on this Cinammon colored Black Bear. Nice color saturation and sharp detail. Nice frame filling composition. She is a really healthy looking bear. I would have loved to have saw the cubs in the shot. Nice one!
