The title is a bit cynical...
Often said that oxpeckers are cleaning the wound through eating bacteria, insects and so forth. Recent survey disclosed
the opposite theory as well; they are keeping the wound open to get the necessary foodstuff afterwards.

I see that you have a great gallery of fantastic observation Great nature shots. The only problem is the lack of note but on the other hand photos are the best ilustartion of your subject
