# The only whip-tailed lizard in Costa Rica that is marked with a light stripe running from the tip of the snout to the base of the tail.

# The stripe is distinctly visible in all but the oldest individuals.

# Most frequently found in forest interior in areas where the sun reaches the forest floor.

What a wonderful shot of this quick whiptail lizard belonging to the family Tejidae (New World Common Lizards). the details, sharpness, lighting and framing are excelent. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

Hi Sky,
Splendid shot of this beautiful lizard and the stripe is quite distinct and interestingly change to blue colour on the tail. Very impressive sharpness and colours and I like this natural surrounding. Excellent POV to portray it and very nicely composed. Kudos.
