Hi Paul. I thought we might see a picture from you today so i held on for a bit. Well i have to say i think this has to be one of you best pictures so far. It has every thing a seascape picture needs. The bolders in the forground with the crashing waves on the beach. With the winters sun just catching the cliff tops. Well worth getting wet fot. TFS this beautiful picture.

Lovely picture, showing that even the dreary old U.K. can look fantastic sometimes,

Even without your signature I would recognize you as the author among many pictures. From my point of view, this is the best of your last postings. I'm particularly delighted by the natural colours, the serenity of the spot and the tension created by the powerful wave that is in opposition with this serene aspect. The low point of view and the usual attractive foreground make the rest...

This is a beautiful landscape shot. The colours are wonderful and the composition is great with the rocks adding good foreground interest. I love the position the waves are frozen in.
Great capture and TFS

fine focus sharpness and details, excellent contrast
between the sky/sea and the ground, the waves
add dynamism to the image, beautiful luminosity,

This picture is beautiful - wish I was there! The ocean is one of the things I miss most now that I live inland. These waves are magnificent and powerful. It's wonderful seeing where they hit the land. I love the rocks in the foreground, the mountains in the background and the dynamic sky. Colors are marvelous. I would rather walk on a sandy beach but this is so nice to look at.

What amazing scenery!
Looks like a place of refuge away from the reckless world.
Exceptional POV with some details and top colors.

This shot costs pair of new trousers. Despite the season shot looks like summer picture. Wonderful POV and lovely scene. As usual details and sharpness across the frame are exceptional and colours and lights are sweet. Bravo and all the best to you.
A T shirt! I went to the Destinations show in Earl's Court - it was freezing!!!!
Wonderful light and composition - but where on earth did you manage to buy trousers in Lyme Regis?

Another gorgous seascape. You are consistant.
I like the low POV, and i understand wet photography.
Well done as usual.

I thought you had snow and cold weather over there, but you're walking around in a T-shirt!
It's not fair, we still have huge drifts of snow here! A wonderful view of this coastline basking in sunshine. I love the golden colours of the sand and the cliffs. Excellent low POV and well timed to catch the threatening wave. Excellent DOF and a lovely sky too.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Incredible landscape dear Paul.
We can almost sense the air and humidity of this place.
Perfect POV and DOF showing textures and colours very well.
TFS and congrats.

The stones in front of the photo lead us over the golden gravel in a paradise of light. The light on the tops of the waves and on the rocks on the right side is splendid. A very good choice to take a POV with 2/3 land/sea and 1/3 sky. The composition and the DOF are perfect. The sharpness and details are marvelous.
It was worth it.

Yellow and golden colors contrast so well with the moderate blus of the sky, and as always we can see a very balanced composition where the bottom line of the wave is continued in the top line of the mountain. TFS!

Exceptionally beautiful seascape image with awesome DOF. Love the way the slow shutter put just a tiny bit of blur to the waves motion, yet still captured the rolling action.
Perfectly composed with gorgeous coloration and excellent exposure. Great work, and well worth a pair of jeans!!
There are some really nice things in this photo, but I don't think it is one of your best. Although the wave action is wonderfully frozen, it misses that something special. I think it might have been caused by the lack of real sparkeling texture. I also feel that there is a lack of contrast in the entire photo which gives the light a slight dull look. I guess that with some local adjustments and adding some contrast the entire photo could get that wow feeling again.

Very pleased to have had your kind visit and an occasion for me to have a look at your gallery. I seem to have missed some shots and my preference goes to this "golden" shot. I especially like the point of view you have chosen leading our eye over the stony beach which the sun transforms litteraly in gold. How amazing! I also like the fringe of waves rolling towards the coast and making an ideal color-contrast. Like always a professional work.
Thanks and kind regards

Never thought I would see a photo of this place on TrekNature. Spent there many days and hours - when we lived in Holwell nr Sherborn - collecting and learning about fossils and carrying rucksacks full of rocks back home and in 1976 transported them to South Africa, when we emigrated.
Many hours I sat there (with a wet bottom) checking out the fossils, which the waves/tide had washed in...
I believe nowadays collecting fossils is no longer allowed - and the beaches/cliffs are quite badly washed out!?!
Ah the good old days
Thank you very much for showing your work on this site
Have a nice day
and I wish you a good weekend
Best Wishes and warm Regards from South Africa
