Hi dear friends,

Spring is coming and i donate this kind flower for you.

I captured that in Abbasabad forest in the North of Iran in last spring.

Primula (pronounced /ˈprɪmjʊlə/)[1] is a genus of 400–500 species of low-growing herbs in the family Primulaceae. They include primrose, auricula, cowslip and oxlip. Many species are grown for their ornamental flowers. They are native to the temperate Northern Hemisphere, south into tropical mountains in Ethiopia, Indonesia and New Guinea, and in temperate southern South America.

Perennial primulas bloom mostly during the spring; their flowers can be purple, yellow, red, pink, or white. Generally, they prefer filtered sunlight. Many species are adapted to alpine climates.

The word primula is the Latin feminine diminutive of primus, meaning first (prime), applied to flowers that are among the first to open in spring.

Primroses are used as food plants by the larvae (caterpillars) of some Lepidoptera species, including Duke of Burgundy butterfly, Large Yellow Underwing, Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, Setaceous Hebrew Character and Silver-ground Carpet.

Some flowering forms of (cultivated) Primula are commonly known as polyanthus (P. elatior hybrids) as opposite to primrose (P.vulgaris hybrids).
Hope you like it

Kind regards

Dear Saeed!

The superb lightplay - the interplay between the quite dark and bright parts - makes this picture an outstanding one. Moreover, the plain beauty of the Primula always is appealing. You have put the flower perfectly well on stage and the subtle composition attracts the viewer's attention.

I like this picture very much!

Kind regards

Hi Saeed, not just a primula but a very nice composition,a magic perspective whit warm colors and fanatstics details....not easy a big macro like that! Thanks for share, have a nice week,Luciano.

Hallo Saeed
This is the 5th image that spoils my eyes this morning and there are more in the gallery that I saw. This Primula is indeed striking and the vibrant colours and gorgeous shape of the flower is a pleasure to look at and admire. I agree that looking at this image makes one think that Spring is in the air, although here in South Africa we are experiencing Autumn at the moment. It is great pleasure and delight to look at this pretty purple flower with its delicate features. The yellow crown on the inside of the flower is really gorgeous and looks like the sun. It is really beautiful and I like it a lot. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Bonjour Saeed,
Trčs belle composition favorisant, sous une belle lumičre et une excellente profondeur de champ, l'opposition des couleurs.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hello Saeed,
What a pretty little bloom you have posted for us to enjoy viewing. I really like the composition you chose, and the detail is exceptional. Love the purple petals and the unique shape they have. The vivid green leaves add contrast to the beautiful flower. Great job!!

Hi Saeed,

I hope spring already reached Your region and wde'll be the next - if I look out of the window today morning there's pleasant sunshine and no snow at all in the city. Primulas are the flowers of early spring, so the choice from Your archives was good.

Photographically seen a fantastic image, awesome playing with lights and shadows, excellent exposure, sharpness, contrast and colors, not to mention composition. Top class work MF. Bravo.

Friendly regards, László

Hi, dear Saeed.
I have missed few your amazing shots and now I correct this oversight. I like wonderful subject of the shot and brilliant composition. Details of the flower and impressive leaf are fine and dark surroundings is great for the subject. TFS and best regards.
