mantis are always very fascinating. Your shot is even more because you choose black and white. Well done. Perhaps the picture is a bit grainy.

Hi Yanni,
It's a cone head mantis (Empusa fasciata) and not a praying mantis.
It is better to present it in its natural environment. They don't like the open and would normally stand upside down.
They sure look like aliens. I love those.
