Hello Selen
Great document and wonderful capture of this giant. From now on we are poorer.Thank You so much.
Best regards
J.Diogo

You make your appearance here on TN after a long time and that too with heart-breaking news -- the demise of the last specimen of Pinta Giant Tortoise and thereby the extinction of this sub-species. Ver very sad, indeed.
Your picture of 'Lonesome George' you took five years ago in South America is a strong visual portrayal of a character with tragic dimensions already manifest in its old sagging skin and in its impassive face on the ground evocative of its deep sense of loneliness. It seems to have withdrawn into a world of its own . . . I'm on the verge of crying . .
Thanks, Selen.

Hello Selen,
It was on the tv news yesterday. How nice that you got a photo of this tortoise. An important memory.
A beautiful photo in beautiful colours and taken from the best low POV.

Hi Selen,

Good to hear from you. Poor George...I met him when I was there more than 10 years ago. It must been a lonely life by yourself for soooo long. This is a really nice shot, even here we can see he is just so sad and lonely.

Hope to see more post from you soon and hope all is well with you. I know it is not the same here.

Way
