So... This is your secret place Peter! I'm so glad that it is still secret as it really looks like a little hidden paradise. What an amazing POV! When I had a look at the gallery, this picture jumped in my face :) Wow! This composition, exposure and DOF are superb and so are colors, saturation and your so interesting notes. My only question is: did you use noise reduction in some parts? This is another high quality post from you, congrats!

All three views are beautiful. I especially like the close-up of the Paradise Lily.
The main photo is interesting because of the nice low POV and the slope of the hills. It also nice to see the lily in a prominent place in the foreground. This looks like a beautiful place in the spring with all the colorful wildflowers. Very nice focus and exposure. Great note.

Very interesting composition and POV. Remarkable diversity, all the more so since it relies on human intervention. Excellent note.
and happy Anniversary Day! (to you, to me and to all people named Peter, Piotr, Pete, Pieter, etc)
Very nice angle you got here; lovely alpine scenery. This is a beautiful flower that it's a pitty we don't have it growing in Romania too. So I have to content myself with watching it on your photo.

Gorgeous colors and love you pov on this. Beautifully taken. TFS

Hi Peter, what a wonderful place this looks. I'd love to go through these mountain meadows and see these flowers. It looks so attractive an area.
Thank you for showing it to us.
Wonderful shot of an alpine meadow taken from an inspiring POV and supplemented by an excellent note describing how our biological diversity is disappearing because we no longer farm our lands like our fathers did. Even the management of the few nature reserves that are left is threatened because of other economical priorities.
So it is great that you posted this. Also a suitable token to congratulate Anne on her wedding anniversary. She is a fine naturalist and photographer.
TFS and best wishes to you,
A wonderful landscpae!
I like so much your upwards POV that let us see the confluence of this two hills, and with that blue sky and clouds formations at the back.
So good the composition made with all that flowers sparked all around, it adds color accents to the whole image.
Love the foreclose flower, with its white that stands out from the image.
A great image to dedicate!
My compliments and thanks for share it.

Really lovely view of this alpine meadow so full of wonderfu flowers. I like the panoramic view even more!
TFS and best regards, José M.
This is such a wonderful view of an alpine meadow and the lily in all three shots is very beautiful. WHat a relief to hear that hay-making will continue in order to preserve the lovely meadows of Kärnten. This is a clever capture; I like the very low POV, the flowers in sharp focus and the sloping hills beyond. Lovely composition!
TFS and best regards, Ulla
Very nice picture with a remarkable composition by having the 2 hills meeting at the center of the image! Plus, your great explanations note bring more interest to this great place! So, I suspect that most of your beautiful pictures of butterflies are took there! Excellent POV and great natural colors!
Great job and TFS,
Delightful composition with outstanding colours and details!
I look forward to seeing your shots when you get back!!
what a stunning photo, it has the very essence of summer tranquility in it. Strong colours and composition combine to make this a feast for the eyes. Wonderful.

I would love to walk through a field with flowers as beautiful as these ones on your photograph. I think I'll forget about the time, I'll stop at each one and admire the beauty, and if they have a fragrance I'll like to smell them. I am also sure that in between I'll find different kinds of insects or butterflies and all other lovely kinds of grasses, weeds and hidden treasures of interest. This is really a beautiful display of nature. Thanks for sharing.
What a wonderful fantasy to be flat on my stomach and seeing what you saw and captured so ably in this photo . You skillfully draw the viewers' eyes up and leaving it to us to guess, which mountains are hidden by the clouds.
In the South African Lowveld are no meadows like in Europe, only dry veld, and we both - my husband and I - miss terribly the scenery you described in your notes.
Although we used to go overseas two times annually, the memories - even supported by photos - are at the end not grass can touch, smell or chew...
Thanks for the informative notes, and the natural colours, and I add your work to my theme "high altitude"
Warm greetings from Limpopo, South Africa
