As you probably know we've got mourning, here in Poland, after tragic crash of plane with Polish delegation of politicians on board. I think this image is proper for such time.

Sometimes I need to do something different. I realised, that most of my latest images are 'sterile' and without arty touch. So today I take rather casual photo of trees mirrored in small pond. But shortly after I started to think how to improve it. Surprisingly there wasn't much work - just slight change of colour tonation and adding some grain. I hope it didn't break TOS. This picture was taken with skylight filter and high iso which made wonders with mood.

Why 'other side'? Because this is 180 degrees rotated picture of trees. Or maybe rather second (mirrored and distorted by waves) life of them. Another world on other side of mirror.

Sometimes I wonder in which mirror our lifes are reflecting?

Ciao Grzegorz, superb composition, fantastic reflections, splendid light, very well done my friend, have a good Sunday, ciao Silvio

Hello Grzegorz,
Excellent composition with splendid light and wonderful reflections in the
water. Amazing details and colours.

The policticians are represented by the trees and the branches just like the heiarchy of a goverment system. The top side of your trees represent distortion of the memories they leave behind while unfortunaly the bottom part of the picture represents the sad current loss of the leaders of Poland. My interpretation of your really clever image. Dreams are only real while you're asleep. My heartfelt condolences to the families and the people of Poland, a very sad day.

Hi Grzegorz
Loosing your president along with so many other dignitaries is such a tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with you and everyone in your country.

The reflection of the trees in the water is a nice dedication.
TFS Janice
