[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not sure what type of animal this is. The skull, from nose to the back of the head was probably about four inches. There wasn't much color to begin with in this picture, so I think making it a black and white really enhanced the contrast and added a bit of a morbid feeling to the picture.

Great shot. Im thinking beaver or something with those long front teeth

Nice angle on the skull.
Great composition... I like how bits of dead grass and stones are scattered around and over the skull.
Death is a part of nature, and this image really shows it.
Framing is good.

Only thing I can say negatively is that it looks like it is overexposed (very white parts on the skull), and the sepia tone shows this off. Darkening the image a little might actually add to the mood of death, as well as remove the extreme white.
