Spring is still springing around here!

My bushveld universe is slowly unfolding as it should... along the way showing off the beauty of that process.

Can anyone help me here with the correct ID?

very nice capture nice photo

Hello Jay,
I like the diagonal composition and the fine texture in the leaves!
Good details are captured, impressive details with that furry appearance...
Good natural colours and the close-up work is well sone!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi, dear Jay.
Spring? Hot summer is around -: ))) but shot is really spring. You managed to reflect all elegance of new life in this twig. Great artistic picture, amazing diagonal composition, delicate colours and perfect DOF and POV. Bravo and my best regards.
Alexei.

Hi Jay,
this is a fine looking capture of these young maple leaves but I'm not sure just what variety you have uploaded. The light is soft and the colour is very good as is the pov. Thanks for putting up this plant as here in Alberta we don't have such a maple.I once back in the early '80s saw a small maple tree with leaves larger than the slip covers that the old 33.3 records came in and the little tree only had 15 or 20 leaves in total, while I was living in Toronto.I miss the variety of trees that eastern Canada has, esp. the maples. Bob

Sobre et riche, couleurs magnifiques.
Bravo
Marie

Hi Jay,
I canīt help you with the ID... I thought that it can be a sort of "sorbus", but when I open the pic bigger I guess that has nothing to do.

About the pic, I always like simple compositions, so this one is very nice for me. I like how you used light, very soft, so colours are soft too. Good detail over the "hairy leaf". Good work!
Have a nice day

Hey Jay, Yes you have posted quite a few shots after this, but i have to stop and admire the beauty of this shot briimming with the joy of spring.
The colours are fantastically picked up alongwith the texture. The green BG compliments the spring colours.Very well done.

TFS & Cheers
