A visit to the saltmarshes near the town, where some groups of yellow-legged gulls were raising the chicks (rather large, by the way) resulted in some adults really excited. Some of them attacked me and I was taking some pictures. The one that I liked most was that showing the whole length of the wings extended, completely oriented towards my head and crying with an open beak. It seemed just like a dive-bomber and these gulls are not small. Fortunately they always corrected the flight direction and passed on the head or deviated just a short distance before.

Canon 30D, 100-400, ISO250

Belle angle de vue. L'attaque semble en effet imminente.
Bonne journée.

great action capture good colors and focus

great pic, TFS Ori

Un abrazote

What a daring shot! I don't think I would have stood there long enough to click the shutter for fear of my eye being plucked out!

Perfect exposure with great stop action!
