Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa - found on old stumps, especially after rain. Very frequent but overlooked due to size. Recorded in Creighton Wood.

Hello Stephen,

A nice macro shot of this slime mold, shows the fruiting bodies quite nicely. That species is quite common here during rainy summers too.


Good photo well exposed. Not always an easy slime mould to photo as it does not take to been moved. also common at the over end of the world :)
