[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The rare "Mola mola", knowed like "Ocean Sunfish" in english and curiously "Peixe-Lua" in portuguese. I said curiously, because "Peixe-Lua" means "Moon-fish". This is a very rare fish and I found it when I was fishing in the deep waters. I wasn´t with my tele-zoom, so I took this picture with the 18-55. The fish was curious as well, so I could get close like this for a few seconds before his dive.
His size is around 150 pounds.
Regards,
Zeca

An interesting capture with your limited equipment Jose, it is not clear, but that fish looks more like a Ranzania laevis than Mola mola from here my friend.

Hello Jose,
I enjoy the composition!
Great colour and fine details, an interesting subject is well presented...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Oh awesome Jose. I've seen drawings of these guys, but never a photograph. This is a very difficult shot, but you caught the two large fins very well. At 150 pounds how "tall" would that make it?

Thanks, John

Not many of this take, normally shots taken from below which give more details of the Mola mola. Anyway, nice approach.
TFS
Best regards,
Kean

Hola Primo!

What a good momnet. A nice presentation. Good POV and sharp. Nice details. Colours are lovely.
Best wishes,
Achim

Hello Jose,

You are a lucky one. What an interesting subject you well presented. I know this fishes from the Tele and so on, but now you captured one at a good moment. Beautiful colors and so sharp that you can see the another brestfin under wather. Thanks for sharing thats something difference. Regards and TFS BOB
