Located about 130 Kms away from Ladakh, India.
This valley touches the Karakoram Range. One has to drive through Khardun-La, the highest motorable pass in the world at 18380 ft to reach the valley. The photo shows one of the first glimpses of Nubra Valley.
The Shiyok River is seen in the foreground.

Beautiful landscape. You captured the colors well and give a nice sense of depth to the scene. TFS. -J

Despite your camera settings, the picture is over-exposed, Saibal. In Ladakh and other high altitude places, a polarizer filter is a necessity to cut off the extra glare.
All the same, the picture gives a fair impression of the place. I had been there way back in 1988.
