|Of all the preys at night occurring Portugal, the Long-eared Owl is certainly the most difficult to observe. Although not rare, this owl is a small-bird very discreet and do not know where their occurrence can be|
considered regular. Observing this species is thus a real challenge for any bird watcher.

You did well with the difficult back lighting. Perhaps you could take some of the shadows from the facial area and display better the focal point (beak and eyes), along with the "horns".
