|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|A neighbor's hyacinth, right after a heavy rainfall. I think the lighting and colors are good. I increased the contrast a tad and saturated the blues just a bit. I didn't have to crop the picture at all because I didn't think it needed it. I wish there were more raindrops visible on the flowers, but oh well!|
A note to TN users: If you think my picture should be removed because it isn't a WILD flower, start a discussion with me before you go off and report this picture. I've had one of my flower pictures taken down before by TN because someone reported it. I think that taking down pictures of flowers, whether they are wild or greenhouse grown is really stupid, and defeats the mission of TN which is "to learn more about the world through nature photography." I do not believe however that it would be acceptable to take a picture of the inside of a greenhouse to show flowers. But, if the photographer is obviously trying to learn more about photography and is taking their work seriously, why would you report that?
