Hello again, after a short break here, I hope you missed me ;-) Haha!

Today I'd like to present you some of the wonderful dragonflies I had the chance to see and capture during the summertime.

I'm not sure that I give you the right specimen on everyone. Please tell me, when the identification is not right, thanks, it's not easy to identify them.

left side:
Southern Hawker male (Aeshna cyanea)
Club-tailed dragonfly female(Gomphus pulchellus)
Orange Spotted Emerald (Oxygastra cutisii) Bronslibel, Gekielte Smaragdlibelle

right side:
Black tailed Skimmer female (Orthetrum cancellatum)
Red-veined darter male (Sympetrum fonscolombii)
Keeled Skimmer female (Orthetrum coerulescens)

I hope you like them all, thanks for any words

Thank you so much my friend Harm (Harm-digitaal) for the ID of the Emerald dragon. Harm is a specialist in dragon- and damselflies and I often have to ask him for help - and he always is helpful and knowes almost every specimen.

Hello Sabine,
A fine collage of dragonflies: a nice look-back to the better aspects of the bad summer that we have had in most of Europe!
Each shot is sharp and well presented and yes, I like them all!

Hi Sabine.
Do you name this break as short break? LoL. You were absent inadmissibly long :-))).

However you have returned with amazing collage. I would be proud of every from them. Amazing lights and colours, excellent details and sharpness, great DOF and framing. Bravo. Once more your surprising work.

Hallo Sabine,
Danke Dir.

Hi Sabine

Great collage of German dragons
Each is nice and sharp and well composed.
The Downy Emerald is new to me, don't think its been on TN before either.

Hi Sabine

Yes, this is another fantastic collage from the "queen of collages" :)
I ckecked the ID you wrote for these splendid species in my book about dragonflies of Europe and yep, i think you got the mall right :)
Superb colors everywhere here and outstanding sharpness in all of them!
...And "yes" for one more thing: we did miss you! How about you post more often so that we won't miss you so much form now on? ;)

Bravo and TFS

Ps: thanks for posting those great workshops, too! On secound thought, after examining those, i would say that that what you said to be Cordulia aenea is a lovely Oxygastra curtisii male. It's quite spread in Italy, too, so that fits as well :)

Hallo Sabine,

hallo Sabine,
Gelungene Assemblage von Deinem Libellensommer. Du zeigst wirklich interessante Sorten. Die Smaragdlibelle habe ich noch nie gesehn. Sehr schöne Darstellung.
