I could't find info about the bug, so i'll give info about the settings of the camera&
Lens Pentax DA 50-200 4-5.6 at 200mm, 1/500sec, f-8 ISO 200, handheld. That's about all:-)

This is fantastic..I have no idea at all what he is..the closest I can get to from my limited knowledge is a Bee Fly of some description!!...Photographically you have captured a stunning picture with great colours and sharpness where it counts!!

Beautifull shot. the bug freezed well. perfect BG and excellent control of light and nice composition. I sent a worshop, sorry if bothering you, i thought a little bit more editing will makes shot better.
