A jumping spider staring at me, and trying to hide behind a leaf. This is actually an inverted image. The spider was standing upside down under the leaf, in order to get away from me. It was too dark, so I shone a torch light on it to take the shot! Hope u like it.

Hi Victor,
I think the low-key exposure works well here..Kinda gives it a "spooky" feel :)
Excellent details and well composed with great POV.

Hi victor,

It uncannily reminds me of a sumarine scuba diver. Any way nice share.

Subhayan.

Splendid shot of this jumping spider with grat details, clarity and DOF. TFS this beauty.
Cheers,

Bayram

PS. Thanks for your kind comment on my Camel spider shot too. Indeed there are not a confusion and that spider has not 10 legs:). The characteristic of that Arachnid order (Solifugae) is that the 2nd mouth parts (i.e. pedipalpi) are very long like a leg:) and tey are using to cath for prey my friend! The extremely developed first mouth parts (i.e. chelicera, the parts widely swollen in my shot) bears tooths.

Hello Victor!
Jumping spiders are one of my favourite arthropod group and I always like to watch them :)
This is a very interesting species, its colours are rather unusual as for this spider group :)
By the way, if you agree I would like to add this picture to the theme "Jumping spiders of the world" :)
Best regards,
Radomir
