Instead of the explanation why I have ceased being a boss (see, the note to my previous picture Boss).

I start to perform the play of six acts, one act per day, every day.

Act II: Imitating Juvenal. Part II.
Act III: Imitating Juvenal. Part III.
Act IV: Imitating Juvenal. Part IV.
Act V: Imitating Juvenal. Part V.
Act VI: Imitating Juvenal. The End?

Act I.
Scene of action: one hypothetic country (definitely not mine).
Characters: people (sparrow), governing body (offstage).
Time of action: 1991.

Note: The country and all heroes are invented. The author does not bear the responsibility for casual concurrences to the real countries, epochs and persons.

People: (addressing to the governing body with surprise and anxiety) What do you do? Think better of it.
Governing body: (offstage, indifferently) Does own private affairs not having a look round.

To be continued.

Hello Alexei!
I really believe that you shoud give also the following title of this photo: "free as a bird" ;> Great and very interesting composition! I like the place where this photo was taken! On one side - bird looks like prisoner, but on the other - like a free one ;>
DOF, colours, and note (very intersting technical data!) are very nice!
TFS and best greetings from Friend!

Salut Alexei,

Hello Alexei,
sounds this going to be interesting, I have not quite figured out the concept, but I'm sure it will hit me sooner or later ;-).
I love this shot, as usual the quality is excellent. What particular strikes me is the symetrical composition and center placing of the bird.
Looks fabulous

Wonderful shot. Very good composition. sharp details. Nice colours. Well done.
Best wishes,

Hi Alexei, nice shot of the bird. I'm sure this mini series is going to be entertaining. The fence plays a role in it. Gives it some character. Nice pose and expression from the bird. Good focus and detail set against the nice blurred background. Good job, look forward to part 2 os this continueing saga:-) Thanks.

Hi Alexei,
Sharp image. Very sharp image:-).
Well composed. Of course.
I like the little sharp eye and the open beak.
A nit could be the human stuff; the fence{:.
Surprise and anxiety....never experienced that; talking about sarcasm and irony.
To be continued....
TFS with a smiley

Hi Alexi

I'm not quite sure why you don't want critiques on this one becuase I really like the compisotion. It is so strong that it pulls the picture together. everything is just spot on. Sharpness the lot. handheld at 600mm is stunning. I really fail to see anything wrong with the quality of the picture.

Hello Alexei,
Your opening act is interesting. Your bird image is exceptional. POV and composition are great. Very well done. I have points to spare, don't worry :)

Hi Alexei,
this is a very nice and funny picture,
The details are fine even that you used a 2X converter.
Well composed and good POV.
Waiting for act II.
Well done, my friend.

Hola Alexei,
bello I act.
nitidez y composición maravillosa,
simpática situación del pájaro.
la luz y el bg, estupendos...
saludos amigo

Hi Alexei,

Great image and the story has started off with an interesting slant. I love the central position of the bird and the symmetry. Colours are rich and that background is simply stunning. Sharpness is good although perhaps a little off on the head.
I am very impressed that this shot was taken hand-held. You must have extremely steady hands!
Did the autofocus work with the converter or were you using manual because they tend to have trouble with a minimum aperture of f/5.6

Great work, look forward to the next ones...

Hi Alexei,

What an fantastic shot! The pose and expression are priceless. Perfect composition, colors and details. Can't wait to see more of these.

WOW!! What a beautiful perfection in this shot!
So sharp that I really envy your skill and your camera. I only miss the sound to hear the tweet of the sparrow!
As you don't want points I will give you a lot of smiles of my own :) :) :) (: (: (:
Bravo for the Act I. I'm looking forward for the next.

Hello Alexei,
Nice start to Act one - the announcement!
I like the central and symmetrical composition here. The technical quality is first class, if perhaps a tiny bit overexposed, but this does not detract from the overall fine impact.
Maybe this is not relevant to the 'Play' but this shot portrays a juvenile Tree Sparrow.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hello Alexei,
I guess that this is the most original presentation I have seen for a picture on TN :) I like it! This picture is simply superb! The bird looks almost like a toy! I like this pose you captured, composition, POV and tones of colors a lot. The centered composition works very well and what to sat about this great BG! This is very well done! As I have points today, I'll give you some and I hope that it will be OK with you… Maybe that for the next time, I will not have some but today, I do :-)

Una maravilla.
Nitidez, luz, color...perfecto!
Saludos, JL.

Hello Alexei,
First of all, it is a great image. You have used your equipment with great efficacy. The result is stunning in terms of clarity.

The composition with the wire-mesh fence is superb and the central location of the bird is well suited to the theme you have taken up in your allegorical play comprised of six acts.
The first act makes a great beginning.
I look forward to Act II with anxious curiosity.

Hi Alexei,
that's soooooo cute, what a pretty pose and the sharpness can't be better.
You did excellent work again, I love it

Hi Alexei

I love the composition here, the fence makes an interesting frame for your bird. Lovely sharp details and a great pose. DOF is perfect as is the POV. A favorite for me :)

Hi Alexei.
Excellent capture.Symmetrical and centric composition, but I like so much.Technical high quality shot(as usual).Accurate sharpness and very good exposure. Also superb OOF BG.I am curious about next picture and continuation your stories in note too.Points I I need not save,my friend :-)
Thanks!With greeting Milos.

Hi Alex,
What a wonderful photo where the fence creates a very intersting symmetry. The sharpness of the fence and the body of the bird are excellent. I do however agree with Simon that the head could be a little sharper. I think it had to do with where to get the focal point. But then again, I am impressed with the sharpness of the overall photo especially since it was handheld. The OOF BG compliments the bird perfectly.

Hi Alexei.
Very nice shot. Excellent DOV. Good idea. Well done. tfs. Stev

Hello Alexei, this is a sweet pose captured nicely framed by the wire and good DOF very sharp detail perfect focus I love the fact you have good detail in the eye itself. well done rgds Necip.

Hi Alexei

This is a very interesting aproach from you!
Looking forward for the next shots of the series and i must say you've made me very curious :)

The quality of the shot is simlpy impeccable and by looking at these last two shots from you, i must ask you where you bought your Kenko 2x teleconverters from and how much were they? :)
The quality reproduced here is fantastic and all the details are superbly sharp!
Splendid POV, natural colors and DOF that blurres the BG magnificently!

Ravo and TSF

Dear Alexei,
did you ever post anything to TN for points? Excellent details, a very charming pose, and a strikingly strict and powerful composition. And the transcending message is very well expressed.
Another superb and very creative shot from you my dear friend.
Can't get enough of seeing more of those sparrows.
Thank you! My best regards,

Hello Alexei,
He's on the way to "freedom" but obviously uncertain about which way to choose!! Such is life!
Very sharp image taken from a nice POV and in pleasant light which has brought out the colours nicely. Nicely composed too.

PS. I don't quite see the difference between points and critiques - I suppose you can count the critiques instead of the points, but as you normally get two points for everything it means twice as much!! :-))
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Alexei,
This is an outstanding photo for a lot of factors.
Perfect focus on the foreground/absolutely oof background
Perfect exposure, beautiful light.
Awesome pose, more than expresive, almost tragic.
Master combinations of elements: an unprotected, week young bird / protectig, strong wires.
Notes... I can say anything about. I need a whole day to properly comment them. Perhaps in the feature, by skype.
TFS and best regards,
José Miguel

bonjour alex
il n'y a pas de raison, c'est une photo tres bien realisée alors vous aurez bien sűr mes points au moins pour celle-ci!
je la trouve genial dans le sens ou l'oiseau est naturellement encadré par le grillage.
le BG est sensationnel.
good week end.

Hi Alex,
I like your decision to place subject in the middle. You achieved a great geometrical pattern with the fence. The colors are very complimentary. I like photos with an emotional contrast... rigid wire and free bird. There is also emotion in the bird's pose/expression like it is about to break free of it's cage. All the technical qualities are outstanding. I have points to spare. Thanks.

Hi Alexei

I decided to wait to the final installment to write my critiques and then my PC went wrong anyway I'm here now, its a great shot of the young Sparrow, very nice detail and a lovely pose, I like the light in the eye.

Regards Hilary :o)

Great shot! I like the geometric angles of the fence this little guy is sitting on . He looks like hes giving a speach or something..:o) Good focus and colors. TFS

Thanks for your comments on my photo " Smoke or Fog? (16)" :o)

First and best shot from your serie.
Artificial supports are usually damaging to the quality, but in this case it is really a plus. I like it.

Light is just perfect.
The neck was almost overexposed but details are in.

Hello Alexei !
This is a fantasic picture, the best (in my opinion) from this series with the bird on the fence. His pose is wonderful. A,d there are so many detailsin the plumage and on the face ! Excellent comosition and POV, and a splendid blurred BG with lovely colors. Very well done !

Hi Alexei,
