[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
These are two almost fledgling hawks might look familiar . They were just ready to leave the nest when I visited today . I was delighted to see them again , but also sad because I know they'll soon be on their own . I'll miss these little guys , and I think they knew this . True to the young , they played a wonderful joke . While one sat in the nest , the other tried hoping around , with predictable results . Good-bye my little friends , the next time we see you , you'll be fledglings . |

Neat composition the top youngster is having difficulty getting its' balance, either that or its' sibling better look out. Thanks for sharing this nice image with us.

I love the way the lower one is looking up at it's sibling... you can almost hear it thinking "I'm going to tell everyone he was adopted"... :-)
