Oudemansiella mucida

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi! Oudemansiella mucida for today, from the Bükk mountains. Quite common fungus here in September, living on beech only, no matter if the wood is dead or living - so we can say O. mucida may live either saprophyton, either parasite life. More infos about it here. |

Hi Laszlo,
This is a pretty little clump of Oudemansiella.
Its sometimes hard to get good focus on these white fungi, and I see it is just a little soft.
Beautifully composed though, and a nice environmental image.
I actually like shots where you can see the beckground although most people seem to agree it is not technically ideal.
Well seen and taken.
Cheers
Steve
Hi Laszlo,
you just made me post the same specie for today. We got plenty around here too. No wonder, the place you found it is quite close to the place I found my exemplars.
Cheers, Petru
Hello Laszlo,
This tree fungus is well captured, also showing the habitat well!
A well composed presentation with fine details thanks to the good light...
