[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is socond photograph on TN of Dryomys laniger Felten et Storch, 1968 - Yünlü (Kaya) Yediuyuru [TR], Woolly Rock Dormouse [EN].
It was taken natural habitat of the species in Aladağlar (Antitaurus) Mts (c. 3100 m a.s.l.). Its first capture on TN by supplied by me (see photo 1).
Derivatio nominis of the species name is originated Dryomys from Anglo-Norman "dormeus", means "sleepy (one)" and laniger is from Latin with meaning "woolly".

You must have been quick off the mark to capture this little one so well!! Excellent focus and sharp details. It's nicely camouflaged against the rocks and the colours are natural in this fine composition.

It must have been incredibly hard to capture such a fast and frisky animal and in the wild!!!!!

Wonderful picture of beautiful animal (I really think that mice are beautiful and nice ;>)
The animal is well presented sharp and clear on the uniform background.
You had to be very patient to take a picture of this animal - I suppose it is moving very fast.

It is amazing how well you photograph mice...they are harder to capture than the big mammals.Great job.
Well focused with excellent detail .
The colours are natural and well saturated.
Beautiful fur texture and eye detail.I can almost see this guy's nose twitching.
