Moooie sfeervolle plaat die inderdaad sterk consumptieve gevoelens oproept. Ben eigenlijk wel benieuwd waar je deze foto gemaakt hebt. Ziet er niet echt nederlands uit.
Prettige paasdagen en dat er nog maar veel mooie foto's mogen volgen.

Thanks for writing your critique on my recent picture, Harry. I am honoured.
I see a powerful image in front of me as I write my words (I have docked off the critique window to keep the image visible).
The raw appeal of this shot hits the viewer hard. An eagle pulling the entrails out of a dead deer.
The image brings forth the majestic presence of this great bird very effectively even though it is engaged in a mundane task such as feeding.
The forlorn wintery ambience is also very strong in this picture.

Well worth waiting in a hide to take shots such as this!
You caught this adult White-tailed Eagle superbly well while helping himself to pieces of Roe Deer meat (why not venison for Easter?). The technical quality and timing of this image is excellent and the eagle is seen sharply against the OOF natural BG.
Thanks for sharing this fine capture of nature in the raw!

hello Harry, looks like this is a shot I missed. I thought this is an excellent one. This is another inspirational catch from you. The type of photos I'd reallly like to catch. So much so that i often think about popping over to Norway but calculating the distances, it would take me a good 2 days drive to get far up north to these locations. Maybe 1 day.

Your pov is just excellent how you manage to get so low right into where the action is with a good clear view on the head. And the head of the dead animal as well in view... which is another bonus. tfs this awesome shot. I'm adding this to my faves. Have a great w/end but as you have spotted the weather forcast isn't too good :-( best rgds Necip

This is a real nature shot. As you say it is not pleasant but it is very much a part of life. Beautifully composed and pin sharp. Exposure is perfect. Must be amazing to get so close to such a wonderful bird.
