Dieffenbachia, family Araceae, is a tropical plant, noted for their patterned leaves. It is popular houseplant.

Diffenbachia rarely blossom. They rise to 40-50 cm, but wildly even to 5 m hight. Wildly they rise in tropical climate South and Central America.

Intersting detail:
* it contain needle-shaped calcium oxalate crystals called raphides - chewing or swelling can occur along with a temporary inability to speak or even lead to death.
