The basic "energy mantenance diet" for most butterflies is flower nectar, rich in digestible sugar but poor in nitrogen and some salts, like most plant matter. So, almost all butterflies may be seen on occasion in unlikely places or positions, imbibing liquids from sources of highly questionable pedigree, usually far removed from sweet flowers: saliva, urine, feces, rotting fruits, dead and very fedorent vertebrates, clothes-washing runoffs or like in this image simply sweat. All possible sources of salts, nitrogenous materials and other nutrients.

Hallo Carlos
A dainty butterfly with spectacular shades of yellow, blacks, white and even a hint of purple-blue. The lined markings is a real show off. It is a tiny and I am sure very fragile insect. A beautiful species well captured. The clarity of the eye, paws and furry body is well seen and displayed. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent colors and details however a brighter or maybe a darker background may have helped highlight the subject which in the current situation has blended a little in to the BG. Great work nevertheless!!
