Melitaea didyma

Hello Again Maurizio,
I missed this fine capture of a male M.didyma taken with excellent focusing and sharpness in the right places despite the shallow DOF in a fine composition on the pink flower.
Thanks and best wishes,

Hi Maury
What a beautiful specimen you present in this composition with well saturated colours.Ideally i look for good clarity and sharpness of wings in butterfly photographs but here i was completely bowled over by the sharpness of the eyes you have managed. It looks quite 3-dimensional.The PoV is interesting and does give a very good veiw of the butterfly in its entirety.

The colour of the flower makes a nice contrast in the overal colour scheme of the composition making it more beautiful.

Thanks for sharing
Cheers
Silpa

Vivid colors Maurizio, well composed with an interesting POV.
Excellent point of focus and details there..
Well seen from this clean BG too.
Nice work,
Howard
