[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this near end of the Western Pasque Flower up on Mount Rainier at the Sunrise Complex on the northeastern side of the mountain. I've never been up this late in the year before and the flowers were nearly all gone including this one almost without its seeds.

This is the Western Pasque Flower seed pod...Buttercup Family (Ranunculaceae) Anemone occidentalis

Hi Lori
Nice capture of these two Anemone that have gone to seed. They are very symmetrical the way the seeds have blown away and left the stem. Nice sharp detail and great fall colour. We have the same or similar variety up here in Canada.

A nicely composed image shown with wonderful detail and natural colors. Your photo almost has a 3D look to it, I feel as though I could almost reach out and touch the seed pod.
