[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all!

A couple of posts ago, our TN friend Josep Ignasi Tejedor decided to give me the Nickname "The Dali of TN". I told him that this is too much honour for me. Salvador Dali was a great artist and therefore also a great creator. I'm just an unknown reproducer of what the greatest artist, Mother Nature, offers to me. The following citation underlines that a photographer never can be the same creator: "A true painter is one who can paint extraordinary scenes in the middle of an empty desert. A true painter is one who can patiently paint a pear in the midst of the tumults of history." Salvador Dalí.

But this flattering comparison remembered me my visit, many years ago, of the Museo Dali in Figueres (Spain). Yesterday evening I spent some delightful moments on the net looking at the work of this outstanding artist. And when I ran through my icy pictures, I felt like dedicating this one to him... and to my buddy Josep!

Kind regards

Hello Markus,

Markus, you certainly are the Dali of Nature.
This picture of the frozen river-bed is yet another abstraction that leaves a deep impact on the beholder's mind, just as all good art does.
These fantastic shapes do form a very aesthetic pattern that appeals to the senses.
Thanks and keep them coming.

Ciao Markus, lovely abstract composition, wonderful light and splendid sharpness, very well done my friend, ciao Silvio

Hey dear Markus,
I have no idea about the area dimension in this frame and I'm so curious about it since I don't know this kind of natural ice formations.
Anyway, your special eyes always give us precious gifts with lots of good sensations. I can travel through this beautiful shapes.
Congratulations and thanks at the same time,

Hi dear Markus ,

So nice work from you.great texture with lovely composition.
A perfect shot as always.

Kind regards
and best wishes

Sorry, Markus, I don't agree with Josep Ignasi. In the early days I've made a study of the work of Dali. It is realism, formed with the illogicalness. Other people like it, but I don't. You're work is creative with a lot of fantasy, sometimes with a ;-), abstract. No comparison at all!!! When I see this photo I like it a lot. Amazing structures, depth of field and splendid colours in a great composition.

Hola Markus,
Another original presentation,
the artistic side of nature ...
saludos amigo.

altra stupenda creazione,Markus
complimenti ciao sERGIO

Hi Markus
I think Josep have right: like a Dali of TN!
And this capture is the in the same style!
Congratulation for this beauty!

Hola Markus,

Hello Markus,
Dali would be proud of this one. I live the very interesting abastract art created all by nature, but off course it take a good photographer to capture it well and presented in a way that normal people don't see. My complements.

Hello Markus,
Salvador Dali was a surrealist and I suppose this capture of a wonderful arrangement of ice crystals can be regarded as surrealistic. It is a skillfully taken image with another example of the infinite variety to be seen in nature.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hi Markus,
a tribute to Dali ...yes of course. And more I would like to salute you for finding such a magnificent arts hidden somewhere in the eyes of the unseen.
Very abstract form of art interpreted by "TN Dali".
Congratulations and looking forward for Pollock's- as I strongly believe you will fine one.

Good luck and best regards,

Ciao Markus,
al di là delle disquisizioni artistiche, quello che a me sembra chiaro è che sei un fine osservatore della Natura ed eccellente interprete di essa; è il caso di dire che "la realtà supera la fantasia", gli artisti sono attenti osservatori e interpreti di ciò che appare ai loro occhi e ci aiutano a capire il senso profondo delle cose;
Grazie e complimenti
Buona giornata
Ciao Maurizio

Ciao MArkus. Delicate intrigant graphic solution for an interesting paint. This is your sign! Best compliments.

Hi Markus

Another remarkable shot from your icey environment. Very artistic and a nice dedication. Great composition and well seen and presented.

Hi Markus,

An another great study of crystal ice formations! I'm just amazed how the art of photography has indeed evolved to another art form! You realy deserve Dali nickname:)
TFS and have a nice night and WE!

Salut Markus,
On y trouve même de l'or... Amitiés,

Hallo Markus
What a lovely dedication to a great member of the Trek Nature team, Josep Ignasi. A worthy and well deserved dedication indeed. Once again the different textures, shapes, sizes and patterns are astonishing and you brought it out so beautifully with your photography. Thanks for sharing this striking piece of art, rounded of in a delightful golden frame and presented in a most pleasing manner. Best regards.

Hi Markus.
It is simply fantastic post. I mean the shot, its title and note.
It is clear Salvador Dali is a great artist. However, not every lover of painting understands or even likes its works. I cannot imagine who cannot like your amazing pictures and your tremendous talent to notice the beautifulness of Nature. Thanks a lot and my heartfelt congratulations.

Hello Markus,
Another wonderful ice sculpture you have presented us with. The first thing that came to mind when I saw your image was that the spiked crystals at the bottom reminded me of the torch at the olympic games in Canada. Unlike the one in Canada, I see that yours have all risen to the ocassion.
It still amazes me what tiny works of art we pass by every day without ever noticing them. Thank you for pointing out just a few of them for us.

amazing unique capture, TFS Ori

Bonsoir Markus

Was Du so alles in der nahen Ärgera findest!
Herzlich grüsst Dich
