This is a lovely bird and the very close capture enables us to see some of the lovely details, especially in its face. It is great to see the almost "segmented" colours in the facial and neck area, as well as the bright red beak and circle around the eye. The Chukar Partridge is a beautiful bird with some striking qualities, which is well shown in this well focused image. I also like your background and viewpoint very much. Thanks for sharing. La perdrix semble être attirer par quelque chose devant elle. Les détails et les couleurs de l'oiseau sont clairs et nettes. Le sujet est bien cadré. La lumière donne un avantage aux couleurs.

Hello Nikos

This is a great close up of a beautiful partridge with very good information.
A species not native to Canada, but it was introduced here many years ago and can now be seen often in open fields.

The details are excellent and I like the background with a nice creamy off focus Bokeh.

Colours are nice but with a small yellowish overtone that could be easily corrected in post process.
Look at the workshop I did to see if you prefer it.

lovely presentation of this well detailed portrait of the partridge. The red beak is indeed a stunner. I like the zebra stripe of the feathers.
The distance blurry background is well composed and it enhances the the beauty of presentation.

I'd call this a beautiful picture, Nikos, but it looks more like a portrait! I love the pose you've caught. Such a brightly colored bird - and beautiful detail you have captured without blurring the bg too much. It helps to see the habitat sometimes! Very nice work.
