Edit for Re-Post:
I have been playing about with this image a lot recently after having been to a lecture on Camera Raw and learning a lot more about how to better edit photos once they are on the computer in camera raw. I have loads of versions of this photo but out of all of them this is my favourite outcome so I thought I would share it with you and see what you think about it compared to the original.

This is my 50th post on Trek nature. It may not seem big seeing as Nick posted his 600th today but I am glad to have reached it and I would like to say thank you to everyone who has critiqued any of my photos.

This is a river that runs down from Cwm Idwal and the lake in the valley beneath it. The mountain behind is Idwal which has had two people rescued on it in the past two days, and I even witnessed one on my walk. I hope you all like the long exposure creating the milky effect.
Hope you all enjoy.

Hello, this is a very interesting photo and your notes are thoughtful although I never saw the original. The 3 second exposure does give the water htat milky look but it also helps with the strong DOF you have made here as well.
thanks for sharing with us here on TN,
