A pity that there's noise in the photo, otherwise a beautiful photo of a Cooper's Hawk, Accipiter cooperii, I think.

Hello Michael,
If it wasn't for the noise this would be a fantastic shot. I believe it has either been cropped too tight for the high ISO you used or sharpened too much. I think Peter is right, it is either a Coopers or it's cousin, the Sharp-shinned Hawk.
