Nannospalax leucodon: One of three species of Blind mole rats in Turkey. This species lives in European part of Turkey (Thrace). It lives almost completely underground tunnel systems, only very rare appears on surface. It feeds on under parts of plants. |

Well known species to me through NatGeo Wild, although haven't seen in natural habitat. Excellent low ground level shot which shows the beauty of this "Blind Mole Rat". Very nice details on its body as well as foreground. Like it...
