I continue my journey in Senegalese memories with ostrich mother takes care of her egg, the future of the species. With this metaphor I want to wish a happy 2020 to all treknature friends.

Happy New Year, nice shot here this named شُترمُرغ that stands Elephant Bird and this has two parts there one has to say both otherwise this would not be complete.

Quite well captured details of this male Ostrich. The area looks like full of reintroduce animals. Big egg, no doubt!

Hi Luciano,
Great symbolic image - we all wish 2020 will be a better year for Gaia than the previous ones (although, starting with the horrible Australian bushfire I'm not sure). I like not only the ostrich mother, but also the background on the pic, nice presentation of the semi-desert. And from the ostrich we can very clearly see birds originate from dinosaurs... :-) Lovely post.
