Dragonfly and hawk
I have a lot of pleasure of the creation of this community of the nature TrekNature My participation begins with this picture of today's day.
This morning, this dragonfly was placed on the thread that has become the corridor of the fame of the dragonflies of my patio. The days clouded in Tabasco have begun and hardly some days ago some rain. When taking this picture I met with the surprise that a hawk that flies generally for these skies, appeared this it is one of the hawks that have become the most terrible depredador in my patio and of the animals that live in the patios of my neighbors.
Adjust on the original picture: a small court, size, shine, contrast and sharpen.

Hola Ninfa, and welcome to TN. We have already seen some of your amazing dragonfly shots on TE, and this is another great one. Supreme details in the delicate texture of the wings and the body of the dragonfly, and the hawk in the background is a surprising detail. Well placed on the diagonal colorful rope. Very good start ;-)

Amazing details and this brings back a lot of memories. I used to go sailing with my mother (Who unfortunately passed away some 9 years ago) and I remember all these Dragonflies sitting on the yacht's rigging and anchor rope. Thanks for bringing these memories back with this excellent shot.

Hi Ninfa, that washing line is becoming very famous!! Well done on another superb capture.

Hi Ninfa welcome to TN, I see youve been practicing with coloured back grounds, just not had time to comment, sorry.
this looks like a darter (sympetrum) of some sort intresing view against the sky, the fill flash has light the detail on the underside enough to see some good details.
Some people would say clone the hawk out as a distraction but it through the note an intresting untold story comes out. thank you for sharring

Welcome on TN Ninfa and very nice first post of this dragonfly. Very clever handling of the flash to put some light on the main subject. The coloured line contributes to the dragonfly in a very nice way as well as the hawk in the background. Well done.

Lovely combination. Great job you did here Ninfa. The composition is great, with al that good colours. And the hawk that's a small present too. Very good job

Another nice dragonfly capture with great colours and very good DOF.

Hola Ninfa,
Impressive first post! I really like the details you have captured in the wings and the composition benefits from the slightly diagonal placement of the line. Felicidades

Hola Ninfa,What a great capture!
I want a washing line like yours!
Very good composition and detail, especially the wings.
The hawk in the background is an excellent addition to the shot.
Good work,very well done.

A very creative work, I like the bird in backgroud, and the rope is a very unusual environment for this insect, well seen !

One beautiful dragonfly in an image like this is a matter of pleasure..now two striking flying machines is wonderful Ninfa :) The main star here is always the dragon but the silhouette from the skies brings a new dimension to this. good job :)

Oh, nice to see you here, Ninfa! this dragonfly is very sharp and very well framed! I like also this colorful rope that make a very nice diagonal. Bravo!

Nice moment and photo. Love the colours of the line. Lots of detail. The hawk complements your note well. Thanx for sharing
