Hi James,
impressive view, the sheer quantity of water here is quite astonishing. Nice comparison in the workshop too. I'm curious as what sort of creatures live up the top there after relative isolation..
tfs and enjoy Sicily!

I lapped every word Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote in my college days, James, though the recall of every story is not all that sharp anymore. Does Professor Moriarti feature in The Lost World?
The settings are awe-inspiring, to say the least. The sense of archetypal fear comes out strongly by looking at such natural phenomenon, so I am with the natives in their response to these tepuys.
The workshop picture exudes a gentler aura in comparison.

Hello James impressive write up makes me want to go there was a childhood fantasy wonderfull looking landscape. I remember the book read it many times as a kid loved the film too, lots of contrast on the shot light looks difficult, nice layered composition with silouettes. tfs rgds Necip.

I think I saw a film on this area. It was amazing...the special flora and fauna on top. The compoarison of the two seasons is very interesting. I think the workshop photo is the better quality one, though both are neat to see. Thanks for sharing.

Hi James,
The difference in the dry season is amazing. This is a fabulous image and considering that it is scanned from a slide the quality is great. Nice.
Cheers,

Hello James,
What a great picture! I'm amazed by the wilderness of this place. Exposure, details, DOF and composition are amazing. We can clearly see the savage and powerful flow of the water. I would not do some kayak there :) This is well done with interesting notes and I wish you a good trip! Thanks,
Claudine
