Rousettus aegyptiacus (TR: Misir meyve yarasasi, ENG:Egyptian Fruit Bat or Egyptian Rousette): It is a species of Old World fruit bat found throughout Africa, except in the desert regions of the Sahara, and throughout the middle east, as far east as Pakistan and northern India. Photo was taken In Syria in a cave (el-Menfa)and more than 1000 animals were there. Bat in the photo was an adult.

Very good capture of this bat!
I can't see very often a so close approach on a bat here in TN.
You got very clear details on he head, thanks to the good use of the fill flash.
So funny the rotation made in the workshop.

Another interesting presentation of bat species. It is really nice that you show us these amazing but poorly known creatures.
Nice portrait but a little better DOF would be good :)
