This is amazing, wonderfull dark sky with sky dancing eagle in full sunshine, perfect exposure and sharpness.
The only problem I can see: do you have anything better to present us in the future?

What a tremendous series from Norway. As you explain well, the conditions of light are exceptional with the eagle very well warm illuminated and this greyish background. A very good shot.

Awesome perspective of this raptor. The lighting is perfect, I really like the warm glow it produced on the feathers. The detail is superb on the subject as I can almost see the barbs on every quill (ok, maybe I cant see that great, but you achieved excellent detail).

Hi Harry,
another great image of the white tailed eagle. I must say that I can only dream about taking pictures like this. Though I have seen them in a similar way in the Lofoten area the ligth was terrible and I didn't know my camera well enough to take pictures on exactly the right moment. Frankly, nothing but compliments for this image. One thought, I still wonder if the sharpening is pushed just a tiny bit too far. I saw it yesterday on my home pc and now also on another screen. Especially on the claws I see a very pronounced light/dark contrast. What do you think?

You have quite a collection of excellent shots! This one is my favourite. The warm light is wonderful, nice warm tones in front of the very naturally luminous blue sky. Great detail too, and the eye contact and stunning pose make this shot.
