|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|It was Christmas Eve... the penguins were in their colony on the hills, incubating their chicks. In the morning wind changed direction for SE bringing snow storm from Antarctic Peninsula. Penguins were siting on their nests and snow covered them and their chicks- some of them were invisible, covered completely by snow, others were cover only partial. It was better to survive this time in a warm snow cover than outside...|
I had that day, big troubles to take this photos - wind was so strong I couldn't stand in some moments. I had many cloths layers on me so it was hard to walk. To took that picture I needed to take my camera fast away from my jacket (it was covered in snow after 1 second) and take a picture. When I was back home I was afraid my digital camera and long lens would not work again... when all this snow melted it was a puddle of water on my desk...
Greetings - I wish you a nice perception from your warm places :)

Naprawdę bardzo udana kompozycja, od razu czuje się mróz.
Bardzo ładnie uchwyciłeś śnieg, widać z którego kierunku zawiewa.

a fine picture full of ambiance. The snow enhances the cold conditions. The only colours, the blue of the eye and the bill, are subtile features which tell us it is a colour picture. Well done, Jacob
