This is some kind of Assassin Bug... can't be more specific than that though!
A beautiful image that is full of colours.
+++ Great sharpness and detail. Superb clarity aswell.
Great composition and a good POV.
I like the DOF because it isolates the bug from its BG really well.

Fine macro of the nymph stage of a true bug (Hemiptera) nicely composed on a Pointsettia leaf. Good sharpness and detail. I'm afraid I can't be more specific in the ID. As Joe suggested, it could be the nymph of an Assasin bug, But I'm not sure.

I congratulate you on new piece of glass. Both you have done great job. I like this macro. It is composed so perfectly as your previous non macro pictures. Amazing scene, great DOF. I envy you so much for being able to use your new and great equipment these days. I'm stuck with work, cold and wet weather here :((
Nevermind that...This is a splendid macro and i see your already very accustomed to your new toys.
The details you managed to get on this little insect are terrific and the DOF that you used was excellent to get the entire bug and its long and impressive antennae in great focus. Well done!
The expsure is also spot-on and brings out the best of all the colors.
I can't help noticing you are using your tripod despite the fast shutter speed...i do too, as often as i can. I've noticed that even if you have a very fast shutter speed, it can happen that you get a blurry shot, a fact that was extreemly rare with my compact. So whenever i can, i will always shoot from a tripod :)

Hello José,
Superb capture of this beautifully patterned bug on the Euphorbia pulcherrima, a pot plant you'll see in every window in Sweden at Christmas time. I've seen them in full size as shrubs on Tenerife. The interesting bug is very sharply in focus and I like its pose at the edge of the petal. A lovely composition.

Hola Jose,
the picture is well composed so that by the diagonal positioning optimal magnification of the bug is possible. This becomes also possible by the great depth of field, exact focusing and pretty good sharpness, altogether reulting in a high resolution allowing this magnification.

Dear José,
perfectly composed, full of motion, filled with light and tropical splendour. Exposure expertly handled in those hard contrasts between light and shadow. Powerfully contrasting colours that appear marvellously smooth here.
Our "cool" season has taken Vienna into its grip yesterday - with plenty of snow arriving overnight. Plains, hills, gardens, forests - everything deeply covered in white. Looks pretty, but it feels good to look into your colours.

veo que valio la pena esperar por tu nueva camara. La foto Macro me parece extraordinaria, te felicito.
Una correcion, no es una flor lo que la mayor parte de la gente piensa que es lo rojo, no es la hoja de esta planta originaria de mexico, la hay tambien con hojas blancas y hoy en dia la encuentras en otras tonalidades gracias a las tareas ejecutds por los jardineros e insectos.
Sobre el insecto estoy en igual desconocimiento como tu.
