what a wonderful image of this Egret.
Your notes are excellent and very meaningful.
That is what I love about TN: it is relatively small compared to giants such as Flikr, but this means we can develop a closer friendship with many more members and it means that we can view every photo posted each day. I joined Flikr as a trial run to see what it would be like and it said 2,000 photos have been uploaded in the last minute!! I mean how are you meant to view all of them?! The chances of missing a gem is so high.

Anyway,
a truly fabulous in-flight shot of this graceful bird that is a perfect photo for this occasion.
You are an exceptional photographer and I have (and will) thoroughly enjoyed looking at your magnificent photos and recieving your useful critiques :)
The photos you have produced from your S3 IS are astonishing and were a large reason why I went for this fantastic camera... so thankyou for that :)

This is a wonderful in-flight capture of the Great White Egret with a goldfish? in its beak. I like the light coming through the wings and details are very sharp. It stands out very nicely against the natural green background too.

Hi Jose Miguel, congratulations on your 1 year anniversary with TN. You are celebrating this with a magnificent shot, I cannon think how it could be better. The egret is in perfect focus and the moment caught show the wings in all of their splender. As if this wans't enough the Egret has its catch also! The catch is also very sharp, your camera settings worked well on this.

I think he is carrying small fish, but I will take a closer look. It is a superb shot all round, taken with great skill and experience shows through. It is lovely to have you on TN and I look forward to the next year.

Great exposure and very nice backlighting on the wings. i really like the pose and nice catch with meal in his mouth. I do have one suggestion. If you went int Hue and Saturation and desaturate the greens about 15% it would make the Egret pop a bit more. Right now the contrast on the greens draws your eyes towerd the background.

I'm sorry for being very busy this past week and almost missing out on this terrific picture of yours. Unfortunately i've been working on different projects and that has cut my TN time very very short.
Anyway, i'm glad i found it now and that i can congratulate you properly.
My dear friend, you've been a great asset to this community and one of the most collaborating members. You have a huge number of critiques written in comparison to the number of posts which again proves the amount of work you invested in this community. We thank you!

Regarding this picture here, i can see that you already master you new equipment. It's a terrific in-flight - a kind of photo not easy to pull when you don't know the exact setting from your previous tries - but you handled remarkably! The sharpness on the subject is excellent and the exposure is very well managed, too.
The prey in its beak is also a wonderful bonus for the scene and although i can't figure out what it is, t's nice that you added that extra WS picture.
A superb composition that acts like a crown for your work in this past year.
