Hello Francesco
I wonder if this is part Zebra and part horse? Her markings are really very unique, I've never seen this before in a Zebra. Nice capture.

Hello francesco !
Even if quality is not the best, as you say, this is a remarkable picture - I have never seen anything like that, it is really a strange zebra and I wonderf why he looks so different... Must be a great moment to see such an animal, and I'm glad you decided to share the picture with us. Thanks for sharing !
Valerie.

wow, really special one! TFS Ori

Hi Francesco

A strange and obviously very rare genetic anomaly. The striping patterns of the plains zebra are generated during week 3 of embryo development and something very must have gone wrong causing this extraordinary aberration. This zebra is certainly a very unique specimen and I don't know if this has ever been recorded or captured before. Although the posting is unfortunately not of a very good photographic quality it still portrays an absolutely extraordinary and "one-of-a-kind" image and therefore I have added it to my "RARE or SIGNIFICANT contributions to TN". That is also the reason why I believe it is worth a "Great Smiley".

I have done a Google search on "black zebra" and found numerous weird and wonderful results, but no other real life specimen of a black zebra as shown on your photo.

Very well spotted and TFS.
Regards
Loot
