Hello Achim,
Though looking a bit small and distant in this image it is a fine in-flight capture of a Plain Tiger butterfly seen from a good POV to show the wings in an open position contrasting well against the dark BG.

Perhaps a little bit small this butterfly, when you more would cropped than become the butterfly great.
I'm not macro specialist Achim, more a landscape photographer.

Hi Achim,
Splendid in-flight shot of this plain tiger butterfly. A slight close cropping would have been effective I suppose. Anyway I like this natural surrounding and the natural light and shadow effect. Very impressive sharpness and a fine chosen POV to portray it. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hallo Achim,
ist schon was anderes so einen Falter in freier natur zu entdecken als im Schmectterlingshaus. Dort hat man Zeit auf den richtigen Moment zu warten. In freier Natur muss es schneller gehen, und dann noch dazu die richtige Linse drauf haben.
Deine Aufnahme ist klasse, so schoen im Flug erwischt und dazu noch in prima Schaerfe.

The butterfly is a bit small but the action is well seen. The image is well contrasted with the dark background. Nice natural color.
