Hi James,
The Puffin is number one on my list of birds I would like to see. They are the cutest things - look like toys. I love the profile view showing off that unusual face. Wonderful colors and details and a lovely setting.

Hi James
Have been down to Dancing Ledge looking for these recenly but they have been hiding from me. You have caught a classic expression here, well played that man. Top work all round as per the norm.

Hi James,
Excellent capture of one of my favourite birds. Like this they often seem to be hardly thinking of something. Very good pose and composition, great colours an lighting, good low POV and pin sharp details.

Glad to have you back, James.
This really is a fabulous shot!
The colours and the details of the plummage and beak are excellent.
Great b/g and very nicely composed.
Like you, I love Pembrokeshire. Sadly when I have been there, I have been too late for the puffins.
One day ....
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Many thanks for your warm comments on 'Nervously Feeding'.

Hi James
Fine shot of your puffin, though he looks lost in a bed of flowers, rather than out at sea.
Very attractive composition and good sharpness.

Hi James
I have always wanted to see a puffin. I am hoping to stop off at a small icelandic island that has puffins in June - so I may get my chance. Skomer Island looks wonderful.
This shot is lovely with pin sharp details, a great composition and perfect DOF. I love the carpet of plants it is standing on.

Hi James,
Hope you are having a great time on your vaccation.
Meanwhile i found this Puffin in your gallery. Now these are birds i have never come across in my real life...and i hope some day on one of my visits i shall be able to see them.Their head and face provide such an interesting physical characteristic study. I like the way you got it right on the gound making this PoV quite admirable. The details on the Puffin is highlighted by the natural light falling on it and illuminated vegetation around also adds to the fineness of the composition.
Very well done.
TFS & cheers
